Dr. Thomas maintains a psychiatric private practice at Fresh Start for the Mind in Suwanee, Georgia and cares for those ages 15 and up. She is one of the most beloved psychiatrists in Metro Atlanta, known for creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment for patients, and infusing hope into all that she does. Ms. Isis Bey, is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Consultant, Trainer, Professor, and Spiritual Advisor and has over 15 years of experience working with children and families. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the North Carolina Social Work Licensing Board and is a certified trauma specialist. Her experience in the clinical field includes but is not limited to Trauma, Domestic Violence, Crisis Intervention, Assessment, Individual, Group and Family Counseling. She also has practice experience using Mindfulness, Spiritual Social Work, African Drumming and Dance as a therapeutic tool. Additional social work experience includes advocacy, international social work, child welfare, parent education, gang intervention, human trafficking, and interpersonal violence. Ms. Bey provides clinical supervision, training, consultation, workshops and instruction on Social Work Topics such as Ethics, Domestic Violence, Implicit Bias, Mental Health 101, Trauma, Group Therapy and more.
