Annual Olokun Festival

International Institute of Afrikan Studies & Knowledge, Inc.

Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade, Director

February 9, 2019

Alafia, We are pleased to announce our annual worship servicefor Olokun, the orisha whose name means "Owner of Oceans." Olokun governs the depths of the ocean, wealth, intuition, dreams, meditation, and much more. We considered Olokun the orisha of the African Diaspora having received the bodies of our ancestors who threw themselves into the ocean depths during the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Olokun offers us the opportunity to go to the next level of our spiritual journey. Join us in ritualcelebration of the God of the African Race.

When: Sunday, February 17, 2019

Time: 4:00 p.m.

Where:  House of Kuumba 745 SW 4th St., Dania beach, Florida 33304.

Please wear white or light colored clothing. Light refreshments will be served. Donations are accepted.
