My dear Iyalode Yeyefini, I am so grateful for the opportunity you brought into my life by organizing this trip for the Obatala Festival. This as been an amazingly rich experience not only because of all the beautiful activities and events but also for the spiritual growth I have come into with each hand I shook, every hug I exchanged and all the smiles I have received. Furthermore, I feel so blessed for having had the chance to meet Her Majesty Yeyelua. She is the most graceful and inspiring woman I have ever met. My discussions with her have breathed new life into my dream about the becoming of our Great Mother Africa and her children. My vision about my mission here has gotten stronger and sharper. I am thankful for having been the witness of the transformation of Ile Ife. I am thrilled that I put my trust into the Ooni's hands when I first met him in 2015, His Majesty is truly a man of his word and have won my never ending devotion and support for His cause of empowering the children of Africa to move forward without fear to work on the most ambitious project of all times: lifting our Great Mother of the floor on which the centuries of abuse have forced her to kneel to ensure our survival. Thank you for your wonderful, inspiring messages. I just retired from the military and have listened to you for some time now. I used to get WiFi when I was in Afghanistan and I would view your YouTube videos after long and stressful days. Thanks again. Oyu Omure la Oba (Freddy Hernandez)

After reflecting on my time in Nigeria with you, I am filled with joy and gratitude. Furthermore, I realized that you have been taking me on an amazing journey since the day I have met you: the journey to my true self. I thank you for all the time and efforts you invested in helping me restore my identity and my spiritual integrity. I also have to admit that my words will never be enough to express my gratitude for you guiding me to my way home.

What is even more remarkable about you is that over the past 40 years of your work with the Yoruba culture and spirituality, you have relentlessly worked with people just like me who were lost and captive to bring about their self empowerment. In your own special way you, just like Harriet Tubman, have helped many reach the shores of freedom. I pray that Olodumare continues to bless you beyond all your expectations so that you will continue to be a beacon of light for all the ones who cross your path. Yours truly and with all my love.

I had decided to prepare a meal for my ancestors. My father loved pinto beans so I had pinto beans and rice. Alanla told me about whiskey and coffee. Mom loved coffee. So, I had purchased flowers, put the additional ancestors pictures on the altar, placed the whiskey, beans and rice, coffee candles and water. I sat down in front and just told them how I was feeling, my concerns, worries and asked that they intervene. I also told them that I was uncertain about what to do--what to ask for, my role. I then began to experience images of the people on the altar (memories of my interactions with them). At one point I felt the urge to play music which I did. Mom's mom and mom loved Duke Ellington, Erroll Garner and for my younger ancerstor (which included my brother Michael) I played some Earth, Wind and Fire.

Boy oh boy, it was a celebration going on!!! I don't know if word can describe how I felt nor can they adquately describe what went on..I was so uplifted, so grateful, so comforted, so loved, so ecstatic. I had told Mom and Dad before that I would prepare a meal for the ancestors at least once per month (knowing that would allow me to do it more often if led to do so), and I didn't know what to do at this time. But it felt that I was guided as I built up the altar, then decided to prepare this meal. The activities leading up to that moment was fun but the real fun was the actual celebration. I was guided! I felt the energy of my ancestors!!

While I asked for their intervention for Akilah; I felt the urge to also ask for intervention for my brothers son (whose name is also Michael); so I did. Do you know that this child sent me a New Years greeting via text? He has not done this in years.

So, Yeye, I am a convert to my ancestor altar. Thank you so much for your guidance and the elevated meditation ritual! I'm excited about re-establishing or establishing my relationships, communicating, discovering and experiencing this relationship with my ancestors. Thank You......

I came to Yeyefini for help with my baby sister. She wasn't answering my calls. I would leave her messages and she would never call back. I couldn't understand what I had done to her to make her act in such a way.
So I had a consultation with Yeyefini, she told me not to take my sister's behavior to heart. She said that I was a constant reminder to my sister of the problems she didn't want to face. She also warned me that things were going to get worst, and old memories were going to hit the surface that we all as a family will have to deal and work together.
Yeye told me to meditate and envision myself holding a white candle and my sister walking towards me happy and peaceful. She continued to ignore me and my calls. Then it got worst, when we had a argument. She told me we were no longer sisters.
I started to have anxiety attacks before I would see her. She was so angry, cursing me out and calling me names. I was told to pray to our ancestors and ask for help as well as continue with the mediation.
Just when I thought she would never turn around. She did!!!!! She answered my call... I'll never forget it was Mother's Day and she answered and told me thank you for the wishes, and the best part was that she said, "I LOVE YOU!" I almost fell out.
Things have been great with us since then. I thank Yeye for my consultation and talk, and information on simple rituals to make things right with a loved one. I was in the verge of giving up before I spoke with Yeye, but she gave me hope and I am forever grateful for that.

"Queen Mother Yeyefini helped my wife and I plan and officiated at our wedding. It was such a profound experience for us that for that day I forgot that I was in Florida and not on the African continent."

Queen Mother Yeyefini's lecture series opened my eyes to the greatness of the spiritual systems that my Afrikan ancestors created. My life has forever been changed by her teachings."

"I met Iylaode Yeyefini as I was seeking an African-minded Priest or Priestess to perform my wedding ceremony. She instantly gave incredible insight into planning a wedding, but most importantly a marriage, from an African perspective - one that would be filled with the blessing and power of the Ancestors, Orisha, & Olodumare. In the year that I was preparing for my wedding, Iyalode provided me with a very accurate and powerful pre-marital spiritual consultation, gave my husband & I the task of writing a marriage contract that would serve as the guide for our marriage, and met with my parents and wedding planners to make sure everyone understood the spiritual implications of our ceremony. Many people have said my wedding was the most beautiful they've ever seen; I sincerely feel that it was the glow of the spiritual energy that Iyalode infused into the whole process that made it an incredible success!"

I did not start "LIVING MY LIFE" until I met Yeyefini at workshop she was having in Dallas, TX in 1994, I was literally sleepwalking, since then I have grown spiritual, mentally and been materially blessed with a new house, a career and a wonderful wife!

Three years before I met my wife, I was told of her by Yeye in a consultation I received, right down to her freckles, her being short and wearing glasses, I am in awe of the ancestor and spirit guides that work through Yeyefini.

My wife and i would love to testify...

Yeyefini introduced me to a better life by teaching the
spiritual truths of the Ancestors and Orisha. With Yeyefini leadership and consultation I have received guidance not only for my own life, but also for my children, my grandchildren and my marriage.

Yeyefini helped me to find my voice as a strong woman. It allowed me the see the strength that I have in myself and to become a leader and to realized things that I never thought would be possible in my life.

As a single parent ,Spiritual counseling has given me the opportunity to have breakthroughs, confidence, patience and the strength to GET SERIOUS about what is mine by Divine order for my child and I. With having bad credit, i push those fears to the side, pursued a realtor on a whim 3 weeks ago, and I am closing on my 1st home in 2 weeks before the age of 30 by myself .

I just recently tried the Fall Cleansing Bath after a bad break up and many years of heartache, and I have to say that Oshun is moving in my life. I have been recommending the bath to many of my girlfriends, but especially those who need to see change in their love lives and in the way they are loving themselves. Not only did I feel renewed with a new attitude and outlook, but on the last night of the bath I also met a lovely and loving man who lives very close to where I got my river water. Of course, I didn't know that at the time that we met, but when he revealed where he lived, my jaw dropped. As Yeye would say, "Spirit is real"! Thank you,Yeye, for always supporting and guiding me. You are truly a great mother.
