Self Empowerment Workshop (SEW) Retreat 2010

We are pleased to announce our intent to schedule the IIASK, Inc. Self Empowerment Workshop (SEW) Retreat within the next six months. SEW Retreat is a six-day intensive retreat filled with ancient rituals of possession of one’s guardian spirits, protective guides, and ancestors facilitated by Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade and her trained priests and mediums.

The initiate will be impacted and their life choice process considerably changed by uncovering many of the spiritual, emotional, and psychological blocks that have disempowered, angered, and sometimes immobilized them.  Facing these issues and using rituals to transcend some of the trauma inherited from the enslavement of Africans in the Diaspora such as molestation, rape, abuse, neglect, and abandonment has helped many be more successful in their lives. The 2010 retreat will be held in South Florida.

Prerequisite: To attend you must have completed the six introductory Level I African Spirituality classes offered by IIASK, Inc.  You may make arrangements for required level I SEW classes by contacting our office.

Tuition:  $1200.00 which includes lodging and meals for six days, all rituals and ceremonies.

Transportation:  Each participant is responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat site.
