Meaningful Monday July 5^th, 2010

The deepest pain a parent has is not when we are disrespected, but when we are disregarded.  Parents make sacrifices, survive unbelievable odds, make choices that put them in harms way and sometimes suffer irreparable damage to their body, mind and spirit.

Some of the shame, selflessness, and secrets that parents experience in the process of parenting are payment that is due to them from the world and their children.  The pain cuts deep when a child becomes an adult and is selfish, self absorbed, manipulative, bitter, and unresolved of their child/parent relationship issues.

The pain the parent received from their children is what they inflicted on their own parent.  This issue will not be resolved until the parent recognizes themselves in their own parent/child relationship issue.

On this Meaningful Monday of our lives, let’s ask for forgiveness to our parents for the damage, disregard and disrespect we inflicted upon them.  If they are still alive…tell them right now!  Call, go visit, or write them a letter.  If your parents have passed on, light a candle and place a glass of water down for them and for you.  Begin to write to them and tell them how you feel.  When this very sincere, apologetic letter is finished, leave it under the candle and leave it there for three days.  Then do with it what spirit directs you to do.

Why do people cheat?

Is it because they are selfish?  Is it because they fear being alone or seeming desperate?  Or are they insecure?  Perhaps they are completing a karmic lesson.

When someone cheats on their partner, whether emotionally or physically, it still amounts to the same lack of respect and integrity for Self.  There are all types of justifications as to the why without acknowledging and taking responsibility for the spiritual imbalance it creates in their own life.

When two people commit to telling and living the truth with each other and one or both of them breaks the commitment, it breaks the spirit not only of the union, but of each other’s guardian spirit.

Relationships, whether romantic, platonic, or business, are brought together through the spirit that abides and thrives in us.  When we have come to the place where there is a change in the intention for the relationship by one or both people, a conversation to the spirit of the other can be had.  Conversing first with the spirit allows the courage that is required to converse with the other person easier to attain.

Here is a suggestion to help you have clarity and courage:

Take a white flower baths to open your spirit to enlightenment

Ingredients:

8 white flowers, 1/2 teaspoon of Florida water, lavender, or almond essential oil

Pluck the flowers into a bucket of water as you pray and ask the divine energy of the Universe to be present and assist you in accomplishing the intention of the bath.

Take a shower, when you’ve finished, proceed to pour1/3 of the prepared flower bath all over your body as you say your favorite prayer(save the remainder for 2 more baths).

When you have finished your bath put on white or light colored clothing.

Listen to some quiet meditative music, do deep breathing and visualize yourself surrounded by white light

On this Meaningful Monday, let’s talk to each other’s spirits and find the courage to change some of our choices.

I wanted to tell you that the Mango Oshun Scrub is unbelievable!!  I had to buy more from Griffins Loft this past weekend.   I have met more men in the past week than ever before.

Here is my testimonial—Funny stories–a young guy followed me around the grocery store the other day and when I went to check out and  he checked out too whether he was finsihed shopping or not!!!

I was at the mall in Palm Beach Gardens the other day with several shopping bags when again a young guy asked if I needed help and he carried my bags for me!!!

A young guy I used to work with called me out of the blue sky the other day and wanted to see me.

Another guy I used to work with called me out of the blue as well to tell  me he missed me and wanted to know what was happening.  It really works!!!
